Position Summary

We are seeking an Office Manager with strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to oversee the daily operations of the practice. You will be responsible for scheduling, revenue management, payroll, billing, administrative oversight, and performance metrics, ensuring that the practice runs efficiently while providing a seamless, professional experience for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the office
  • Coordinate complex, multi-step dental treatment schedules
  • Ensure all administrative and clinical workflows run smoothly
  • Maintain compliance with dental regulations, safety protocols, and office policies


Financial Management:

  • Oversee revenue, payroll, and billing processes
  • Manage insurance verification, patient payments, and collections
  • Track and report on practice performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement


Team Leadership & Development:

  • Supervise, mentor, and support front-office and clinical staff
  • Build a positive, collaborative, patient-first office culture
  • Facilitate staff training, performance reviews, and professional growth opportunities


Patient Experience & Office Environment:

  • Ensure every patient interaction is professional, welcoming, and seamless
  • Monitor patient flow to maintain efficiency without rushing care
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize the patient experience


Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing a dental or medical office
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable overseeing scheduling, payroll, billing, and performance metrics
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to solve problems independently
  • Proficiency with dental software (Dentrix or Eaglesoft preferred)
  • CPR certification is a plus
