Position Overview:
A high-performing endodontic specialty practice in Atlanta is seeking an experienced and results-driven Dental Office Manager to lead the administrative and operational functions of a fast-paced clinical environment.
This is a key leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, supporting a high-performing team, and ensuring a seamless, efficient patient experience from first contact through treatment completion.
The Office Manager partners closely with the doctor and clinical team to optimize scheduling, streamline workflows, and maintain a practice environment that prioritizes both clinical precision and exceptional service.
The ideal candidate is a confident, detail-oriented leader with strong dental operations experience, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage both people and performance in a specialty setting.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Operations
- Oversee all day-to-day front office operations, scheduling, and patient flow
- Optimize provider schedules to support production goals and clinical efficiency
- Ensure systems, processes, and workflows are consistently executed at a high level
- Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance productivity and organization
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop front office and administrative team members
- Manage hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance expectations
- Foster a professional, accountable, and team-oriented culture
- Maintain clear communication, structure, and consistency across all team functions
Clinical Coordination
- Partner with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily execution of the schedule
- Proactively manage schedule disruptions and maintain flow throughout the day
- Align scheduling strategies with both patient care priorities and production targets
- Serve as the central point of coordination between administrative and clinical teams
Patient Experience
- Ensure a professional, efficient, and reassuring experience for all patients
- Manage patient communication, scheduling concerns, and service recovery when needed
- Maintain high standards of organization, responsiveness, and professionalism at the front office
- Support a patient-centered environment that reflects the quality of a specialty practice
Revenue & Financial Performance
- Monitor daily production, schedule utilization, and case acceptance trends
- Oversee insurance verification, treatment coordination, and front office billing processes
- Support collections, accounts receivable management, and financial follow-up systems
- Ensure financial workflows are accurate, efficient, and aligned with practice goals
Administrative Oversight
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with office policies and standards
- Oversee front office systems, reporting, and documentation processes
- Ensure all administrative functions support a highly organized and efficient operation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in dental office management or advanced dental administration
- Experience in a specialty practice (endodontics, oral surgery, or periodontics) strongly preferred
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage operations in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong understanding of dental scheduling, insurance workflows, and billing processes
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
